Part of me wants to be offended at a company who would put out a "For Her" product that appears to have manufactured by Lady Lovelylocks and her Pixies. Part of me is compelled to admit to you, the Amazon reader, that my co-workers, who are A) Female B) 30 years plus in age and C) Intelligent, squealed like little girls when they saw these.
So we'll try to get past the fact that BIC sees us career gals as Bonnie Bell lipstick devotees who delight in all things pastel, and let's take a look at the colors. Pale, wispy pink, with "jewel" accents on the sides and top, and soft orchid with the same. The ink (especially on the pink pen) is light and hard to read on some surfaces, but flows nicely.
I would say it's something your grade-schooler (or grandma) would love, but then there were my co-workers. So if it strikes your fancy, the pens are nice and work just fine, holding up to daily use at my work. Comfortable grip, not too squishy. But BIC, some of us are more of... Read more

My daughter, who loves pens as much as I do, tried to claim these BIC For Her Fashion Pens immediately upon seeing them. They are definitely girly, with pink and purple ink and cute little matching designs on the barrels. I do find that I have to press down harder to get the ink flowing in a steady stream, but that may be expected in a ball point pen. Other than that minor problem, these pens are fun and perfect for the girls in your life.

I love pens. Maybe it's leftover excitement from when I was a kid and I would get new school supplies, but I am always looking for "cool" pens. I want pens that are not only useful, but attractive as well.
These retractable ball pens are both useful and attractive. I'm also a fan of pink and purple, so they had even more appeal for me. They fit comfortably in the hand. The ink flows smoothly. They are an all around good pen. They would be a great gift for young girls who like to journal or for anyone who likes to use colorful ink.
I've seen a few comments about not understanding why these are "for Her." Function wise, they are for anyone. Design wise - the pink/purple colors along with the fancy design on the barrels give them a decidedly feminine appearance.
My one concern is the price. Even though I love pens I'm not sure I would not have paid $6.00 for them just for myself. However, I might pay that price if they were a gift.
